Questions
Does KumiBrief save what I paste?
No. The server does not store your text or the brief, and it does not write them in logs. The brief stays in this browser tab until you refresh or leave. There is no account.
Who else sees my text?
We send your paste to Google through the Gemini API so it can write the brief. We use a paid Gemini API key. Under Google's paid terms, Google does not use your text or the brief to improve its products. Google keeps prompts and replies for a limited time, only to detect abuse and for legal reasons.
Why might the brief be wrong?
The model can miss a detail. Read the brief before you trust it. If something important is missing, edit it or try again.
Is there a free limit or a paid plan?
The default is 3 handoffs a day for one network and 200 a day for the whole site. The form shows the limits this server is using. Both reset at midnight UTC. A try counts when the text is sent, even if the brief fails. KumiBrief is free within those limits. Nothing on this site is for sale.
Which AIs can I hand off to?
You can aim the brief at ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini, or leave it generic. That choice only changes wording when it helps. It does not connect to those products.
How long can the paste be?
The default limit is 40,000 characters. Past that, you get a clear error that names the limit, and nothing is saved. A much larger request is refused before it is read.
How long is the brief?
Short aims for about 150 words. Standard aims for about 260. Detailed has no word target. A short brief should be clearly shorter than a standard one. Essential Context stays to two sentences. Rules and open questions stay even if the brief runs long, and a note says so.
What language is the brief?
It follows the main language of what you paste, unless you pick English or Japanese. The six headings stay in English. Japanese names and rules stay as written.
